Terms of Service
1. The service
Wimtro ("we", "us") emails you job alerts and, when you ask us to, applies to jobs for you. We match new job postings to the preferences you give us and email you links to apply. Job listings link to third-party employers and job platforms; we are not the employer and make no guarantee about any listing, application, or hiring outcome. Some links are compensated: we may earn a fee when you apply. This never changes what you pay (nothing), never obligates you, and never changes which jobs we show you first (ranking is based on fit and quality).
2. Email job alerts
- When you sign up with your email, you agree to receive job-alert emails and account emails (sign-in links, receipts, and service notices) from Wimtro.
- Unsubscribe any time using the link in any job-alert email, or by emailing hello@wimtro.co. We honor opt-outs promptly. Account emails you need to use the service (such as a sign-in link you requested) are transactional and are not marketing.
- You represent that you are 18 or older and that the email address you provide is yours.
3. Applying on your behalf (the Wimtro apply service)
Wimtro can prepare and submit job applications for you, using the driver profile you build with us. This section governs that service.
- Your authorization: by approving a specific job (tapping Apply for me or an equivalent control), you authorize Wimtro to act as your agent to complete and submit an application for that job to the employer or its application platform, using the information in your profile. Each approval covers that one job only. We never submit an application you did not approve.
- Your certification: your approval is your electronic signature and your certification that the information in your profile and that application is true and complete. Applications for driving jobs are subject to federal rules (including 49 CFR 391.21) that require this certification from you personally. You agree that your tap, together with your typed name where requested, constitutes your signature under the E-SIGN Act and applicable state law.
- Your application phone number: the phone number in your profile is used to complete applications, because employers and their platforms ask for it and call it. It is used for that purpose only. We do not send you marketing text messages at that number. Text alerts, if we ever offer them, are a separate opt-in described in Section 8.
- Accuracy is yours: we submit what you gave us. Keep your profile current. False statements on driver applications can disqualify you and can violate federal regulations.
- What we cannot control: employers and their platforms decide how applications are processed. Some applications require steps we cannot complete for you (for example identity verification, a human verification check, or a Social Security number, which we do not store). We hand those to you and tell you exactly what is left.
- Receipts: we keep a copy of each application we submit for you so you can see exactly what was sent.
- Limits: we cap submissions (for example a daily limit and one application per employer) to keep your applications credible with employers. We may decline to submit to a given site if we cannot complete it accurately.
- Background checks: employers may request consumer reports and driving records under their own disclosures (FCRA, PSP, CDLIS, drug and alcohol clearinghouse). Those authorizations are between you and the employer or its screening provider. Wimtro does not order or receive background checks.
- No employment relationship or guarantee: Wimtro is not an employer, staffing agency, or recruiter and does not guarantee interviews, offers, or employment.
- Revocation: you can stop the apply service any time (unsubscribe, or ask us to pause or delete your profile). Applications already submitted cannot be recalled.
4. Referrals
You can share a referral link. When a friend joins with your link and completes their first application, you earn extra Apply-for-me credits (a one-time amount per friend, shown on your board). Credits have no cash value, cannot be transferred or sold, and can be adjusted or withheld for referrals we reasonably believe are duplicate, fake, or abusive. We may change or end the referral program at any time.
5. Acceptable use
Do not provide contact information that is not yours. Do not put false information in your profile or an application. Do not use the service to harass anyone or to violate any law.
6. We use AI, and it can make mistakes
Wimtro uses artificial intelligence in two places. We use it to read job postings and work out details like the licence class, route type, freight and location, which is how we decide what to show you. We also use an automated browser agent to fill out and submit applications on your behalf when you swipe right.
Both can get things wrong. A job may be categorised incorrectly, shown to you when it is not a good fit, or missed entirely. An application may be filled in with an error, submitted to the wrong place, or fail to submit at all. You are responsible for reviewing what is submitted in your name. Anything the agent cannot complete is flagged on your board so you can finish it yourself. If you would rather not have us apply for you, use the "apply myself" link on any job instead.
7. Disclaimers and limitation of liability
The service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. Job data comes from third-party sources and may be outdated, inaccurate, or filled before you apply. AI-generated categorisation and AI-submitted applications are provided on the same basis. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to $100.
8. Your content and license to us
Your profile, resume, and application answers remain yours. You grant Wimtro a limited license to store, process, and transmit them solely to provide the service (matching jobs, preparing and submitting the applications you approve, and showing you receipts). We claim no other rights in your content and do not use it to train models or for advertising.
9. Text alerts (optional, only if you opt in)
Wimtro runs on email. We do not text you unless you separately opt in to text alerts. If we offer text alerts and you choose to enroll, these SMS program terms apply to that enrollment:
- Program: Wimtro Job Alerts — recurring automated marketing and informational text messages.
- Message frequency varies (typically up to 1 message per day).
- Message and data rates may apply for messages sent to you from us and to us from you. Contact your wireless provider with questions about your plan.
- Opt out any time: reply STOP to cancel. You will receive one final message confirming your opt-out. Text START to re-subscribe.
- Help: reply HELP or contact hello@wimtro.co.
- Consent is not a condition of any purchase or of using any service.
- Enrollment requires double opt-in: you must confirm by reply before recurring messages begin.
- Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
- The number used for text alerts is separate from the application phone number in your profile.
10. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify Wimtro against claims arising from information you provided being false or infringing, or from your violation of these terms or of any law.
11. Termination
You can stop using the service and request deletion at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or that we reasonably believe are fraudulent. Sections that by their nature survive (receipts retention, indemnification, dispute terms) survive termination.
12. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, excluding its conflict of law rules. Disputes will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Los Angeles County, California.
13. Changes
We may update these terms; material changes will be posted here with a new date. Continued use after changes is acceptance.
